About Us
High Performance Fuel Cell Research & Development

Is a business based in the state of Florida . We are working with some of the top

Performance Researchers in the HHO world today. And this is what happened.

We shared our knowledge of what we knew with others around the world. Now here’s what happened, they came back and shared with us. It was that simple. By networking and sharing it took us further than anyone in the HHO industry today. HPFC was never built on money; only blood, sweat and tears. I never had to spend a dime on HPFC it all came from hard work by myself, family, friends and even people that I have not yet been able to shake their hand.  I’d like to pat them on the back and say what a great job, with the utmost respect and a thank you from my heart. Great job everyone! Great job! So I would like to say - We have put over 8 years into this technology and 3 years of some serious testing and changes. I fully feel we are ready and have it down pat. Now is the time to move; Game on!

Jim Tarantola, owner of Backyard Builders of Tampa Bay, plans to be there to spread the word on Hydrogen Generators and recruit unemployed tradesmen interested in learning how to install them.

"I want to break new ground in something that's really important," Tarantola said.

"I've always been playing with alternative energy, wind, solar panels, stuff like that. What I learned was how to take all four elements - wind, earth, water and fire - to get off the electrical grid," Tarantola said.

Other participants are expected from as far away as England and Germany.

Best of the Show - Jim,Beth,Jamie and Joe Tarantola, HighPerformanceFuelCells

AT THE FIRST GAMES I WANTED TO SHOW HOW EASY IT WAS TO INSTALL HHO.

THREE INSTALLS IN UNDER 8 HRS.

A pioneer of the Florida HHO industry, Jim Tarantola of Tampa, will demonstrate a 1,000-watt generator, a 24-ft. RV, a stump grinder, motorcycle, a 4×4 and other vehicles all running on HHO in Inventors Row and in Demonstrator Spaces E8 - E13. Jim has launched a major effort to provide work through HHO assembly, sales and installation to more than 26 Tampa-area construction contractors who were out of work. He’ll speak at 1PM on Nov. 11. His speech is called, “Why HHO? Why Now?”

Jim Tarantola,

A THE SECOND GAME I WANT TO SHOW HOW EASY IT WAS TO INSTALL HHO ON JUST ABOUT ANYTHING

Jim Tarantola snapped a big HHO kit into place on a shiny new semi on the main lawn in just an hour,A spectacular display by HHO Games & Exposition Grand Prize winner Jim Tarantola is set for the 2009 HHO Games in Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 7-9. Among the attractions will be a remote-controlled, 5.5-ft. HHO-powered P-60 Warhawk model airplane with a 5.5-ft. wingspan and a 3-ft. Everglades-style Airboat, along with a 3-ft. miniature of Jim's extremely rare 1969 Chevy K-20 pickup that gets 35 mpg ,with RC T-Maxx 3.3 1/10 scale RC Truck run time was 15 min. On HHo 25 min.  also be on display. But the big attraction is the installation of an HHO dry cell on a full-sized semi truck! Jim explained that the driver - like many - is facing tough times and needed a helping hand, so the kit and installation will be free. Jim is also showing his 2002 KMT 640 Super-Dupe motorcycle and a 2005 F250 6-liter diesel pickup [using two dry cells - one for idling, and the other for towing and heavy acceleration that gets 28 mpg) and several other vehicles including his HHO-powered 5.7-liter 2008 Toyota Tundra with crew cab that gets 26 mpg , 2008 GMC 3500, Lincoln Town Car  that gets 35 mpg plus a 650 artic cat that run on 10% gasoline 90% HHo and a lawn mower on HHO What a showman! Jim said If we can make this work on a RC truck and all the way up to shiny new semi this can work on anythig that uses gasoline or diesel

July 24, 2009 - Introducing James Bond and Joe Dirt from High Performance Fuel Cells

Hydrogen's sleek, compact, highly polished HHO kits and a solar-powered kit designed

by the sons of Jim Tarantola were the showstoppers at the 2009 Summer HHO Games.  The Tarantola brothers' solar-powered design, in a bright orange 1969 Chevy pickup, displayed an extremely low power draw from two 15-watt solar panels mounted on the backside of the cab. The power draw was about 150 milliamps at highway speeds - you read that right - and the kit's energy use is determined by a connection to the throttle body, and decreases as speeds rise. But the amazing Jim Tarantola sons stole the show with a 3 to 8 lpm solar-powered HHO generator, imagined and assembled by sons James and Joe Tarantola, that uses only 115 milliamps when the engine is running at highway speeds.

HHO-Powered 45 MPH 250 MPG Bicycle    Nov. 19, 2009 - The online Bradenton Times called today to let us know they're featuring the HHO Autumn Games as the "family-friendly" event of the weekend for Sunday, Nov. 22. We couldn't help but tell them about the "Super Bike" Jim Tarantola is bringing down from Tampa. It was developed for his sons Jamie and Joey on the base of a "beach cruiser," one of those standard bicycles with the fat tires and butterfly handlebars you rent at the beach to cruise up and down and do your basic people-watching. Jim started with that humble base and hooked up a standard 2-stroke, 85cc engine alsong with an HHO kit. The HHO kit has extended the range of the engine from the standard 100MPG to an astounding 250MPG, and the motor's magneto will not only power the lights - but also your laptop! Best of all, maybe, because the original machine was a common bicycle, Jim says, it doesn't require a driver's license. And get this: until he put a governor on the motor so his kids could ride it around the neighborhood safely, he was speeding around Tampa at 45 MPH! Jim's a super inventor, and his kits are a standard for the industry. His talks Saturday and Sunday about the cutting edge of HHO development are likely to be the best-attended of the show. You might also want to ask him what the Texas emissions peole are sayng about his zero-emission kits. Jim's entourage will be headquartered in HHO Spectacular Space No. 3.

With the constant rise in the cost of fuel and concern for a cleaner environment, how can anyone afford not to consider an alternative energy resource?

Our motto is

"One vehicle at a time, county by county, state by state, continent by continent"

Hello my name is Jim Tarantola. The creator and founder of Highperformancefuelcells.com I have been involved in Alternative Energy for Approximately 15 years and almost 8 years in hydrogen technology.  It all started as a hobby, and turned into my life.  Our main goal and objective is to teach people and reach people about alternative energy.  If you really ask me who I am, I am a carpenter by trade. My grandfather and my father were also master carpenters. I had a great business when the economy was still thriving building decks and docks and I was making good money, living the American dream. If you look at what Americans want its only three simple things, they want a good roof over their head, a job they enjoy doing and a way to recharge their emotional battery with family and good friends. Then the economy went to the crapper. More and more people each day are losing their homes and their jobs. In the state of Florida unemployment is at 12%, that’s not counting the number of the people who are self-employed, so all equals to 18 million people in the state, 12% unemployed, probably another 10% unemployed self-employed, so that’s roughly 4 million people without a job and are losing their homes. WTF!!!

But there is an answer to stop all this and it is simple. STOP GIVING YOUR MONEY AWAY TO PEOPLE WHO DON”T LIKE US ANYWAYS! We’re not being invaded at our borders we’re being invaded in our heartland. Everyone sees it and knows it but they act like its not happening.  They are taking our country, taking our states, taking our cities and our towns block by block. There is an ACT which allows foreigners to come to this country on what they call a 'millionaire's work visa'. Now, this means that if you’re a foreigner   and are a millionaire you can get a work visa and you can come to the United States and buy property, hotels, real estate, gas stations, convenience stores and franchise businesses. When was the last time you saw an American owned, mom and pop gas station or convenience store? Now these people don’t get taxed for four to seven years. Our money is leaving the country quicker than we can print a new dollar and that money is supporting terrorism globaly. The backbone of America is funding world corruption. Now the only way that I know to stop this is doing three simple things. First and foremost, stop giving your money to people who don’t like us anyway.  Second, we are smart monkeys who don’t need to stock up on beans and bullets, we know how to use tools, now we just have to build things to turn our lives and our futures to alternative energy. Third, this country wasn’t built on money it was built on the backbone of Americans with blood, sweat and tears. We laid it brick by brick, paved it road by road and built them one at a time. No CEO or Big Corporate America wants us to become organized, but remember most of all we are the ones that feed them, build their homes and take care of and wipe their ass and put them in the ground. American backbone built this country not some foreigner from the Middle East taking our lands and taking away our economy because when America owned those gas stations the backbone had a job, a home and a way to recharge their emotional batteries. Now more and more Americans are standing out on the side of roads holding up signs that say “will work for food”. WTF???

We have designed 3 different block sizes.  Our Rice Rocket model is our smallest unit and is designed for 4-6 cylinder vehicles.  Our Small Block is designed for 6-8 cylinders.  Our Big Block model is designed for 8 cylinders up to 14 Liter engines.  These units are designed to be customized to give you the optimum output of hydrogen specifically for your engine.  Think of it like this; let's say you have a 305 Chevy engine.  Our Small Block unit can be adapted to add more plates to make a 307, 327, 350, 383 Stroker, and a 400 small block by being able to add more plates to our systems.  The best way to explain this theory is relating to an oxygen-acetylene cutting torch.  When you have too much setylene, you get that long dirty flame with carbon rolling off of it.  Now turn the acetylene down, allow a better proportion of oxygen, and you get that short potent cutting torch.  Gasoline is 13% fuel efficient and diesel is 17%, while 26% of your fuel gets burned up in your catalytic converter.  Now by adding hydrogen, you're making your fuel 95% fuel efficient by balancing your fuel levels.  What we have learned is that the key to getting the most efficient burn is adding the right amount of hydrogen.  If you add too much hydrogen, you could get worse gas mileage.  Adding too little hydrogen will yield poor effects with low gas mileage increase.  This is why we provide three different size blocks.  We can add more plates to increase our liters per minute production.  We know we've reached maximum fuel efficiency when the exhaust has almost 0% emissions.  When the engine is too rich, we know to remove a few plates - when running too lean, we simply add more plates.  Our Big Block unit can make enough hydrogen to run home generators on hydrogen alone.
